Year Two Changes

The second annual Kicks for Kids event in Bridgeport, NE was a blast! It was so fun putting smiles on so many young faces.

In our second year of providing fresh sneakers to all 250 students at Bridgeport Public Schools, we learned that an event that size requires a little more help so we teamed up with Zappos.com to order shoes. It’s important to us that every kid in school gets the shoes, not just the ones who can demonstrate need, because we don’t want there to be a stigma around wearing our “kicks”. We do this to bring people together, not find another way to set them apart.
