Five Years! K4K 2022

This fall, we are feeling grateful! We have so come to look forward to that time of year when we get to show up and give away something that every kid needs for their school year: shoes.

Being unable to participate in phys ed classes because of a lack of shoes affects more than just a kid’s fitness - It can lead to behavioral issues and feelings of isolation that can follow a child throughout their life. Which is why we find it so important that every child has access to quality footwear.

Quality is important to us, too - kids will judge each other on all kinds of things, not the least of which are the quality of their sneakers. By giving away name-brand shoes we not only ensure a quality product, but that the kids who wear them aren’t ostracized.

We were proud to give away nearly 250 pairs of sneakers this year - our fifth year in a row! Thanks to Plummer Insurance and Bridgeport Family Dental for sponsoring us year in and year out, not just financially but with your time and enthusiastic spirit as well!
